I'm Theo, a self-taught tech professional with decades of hands-on experience. From building PCs since 2001 to running complex home labs with services like Nextcloud, Tailscale, and Jellyfin, I've developed a strong foundation in both hardware and software. I’m skilled at communicating with people of all IQ and personality types and pride myself on being able to make the complex understandable. Whether it's web development, IT support, Linux systems, or smart home integration, I thrive on solving technical problems and helping others get the most from their technology. When I’m not working on tech, I’m lifting weights, playing guitar (Drop D all day), or diving into VR gaming and sim racing. I'm a big guy with a bigger drive, always pushing for progress in every part of life physical, mental, and professional.
At Morgan Law, I provided comprehensive IT support for a mid-sized legal firm, ensuring the smooth operation of all technical systems. My responsibilities included troubleshooting and repairing laptops and desktops, setting up workstations for new staff, and handling daily tech-related queries from attorneys and administrative staff. I also maintained and updated the firm’s internal servers and client-facing website, implementing backend improvements and security patches. In addition, I contributed code enhancements that improved website load times and added new features for client intake and case tracking. My work helped reduce tech downtime and significantly boosted internal efficiency.
During my time at Sendhub, I worked as a front-end developer turning design concepts into responsive, performant web applications. I collaborated with designers and back-end engineers to implement modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript standards while also optimizing for SEO and cross-browser compatibility. One of my notable contributions was streamlining the agency’s code deployment process using Git hooks and CI integration, which significantly improved project turnaround.
At TDS Designs, I focused on designing and developing custom websites for small businesses and non-profits. My role spanned both design and development—working in WordPress, Photoshop, and basic PHP to deliver end-to-end website solutions. I introduced mobile-first design practices to the team and implemented Google Analytics on all client sites, giving clients better insight into user behavior and marketing effectiveness.
Attended Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons from grades 7 through 12, graduating with honors. Maintained a consistent position on the honor roll throughout all academic years, demonstrating strong performance across core subjects. In addition to academic achievement, I was a dedicated student-athlete serving as captain of both the JV and Varsity football teams. My time at NDBG helped instill discipline, leadership, and a strong work ethic that continues to drive me today.
Earned a BA in Computer Science with a focus on software development, algorithms, and systems architecture. Developed several independent and team-based projects using C++, Java, and Python. Participated in the college’s tech club, where I helped build a campus-wide LAN game server and contributed to a student-run open-source project. Also was a walk-on starter for their Div 3 Football program.
Earned the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, a comprehensive, hands-on program developed by Google to prepare learners for entry-level IT roles. The coursework covered key areas such as troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security. Gained real-world skills in managing IT infrastructure and providing technical support, laying a strong foundation for a career in IT and help desk environments.
